A new kind of camp. There will be glitter.

On June 1, 2015, Ko'ox Boon will facilitate its second annual creativity camp, for rural maya-speaking youth in Yaxhachen and Xkobenhaltun, Yucatan. The camp will last 6 weeks, culminating in a "Living Museum," where the niños will be tasked with the self-reflexive exercise of making a museum out of their own home. The curriculum will ask important questions about heritage, media representation, and creativity in thought.
